![]() She experienced firsthand both the successes and the limitations of Western medicine. Rosemary ultimately envisioned how Listening Touch Shiatsu combines the best of Eastern and Western practices. Theories essential to the practice of Chinese medicine include Yin Yang, the Five Elements and the Twelve Meridians. These theories inspired the watercolor painting to the left, which graces Rosemary’s studio. The artist is Rosemary’s husband, Ron. Rosemary and Ron share a love of nature and strong connection to the universe. Favorite activities are hiking, kayaking, backpacking, camping and simply being with nature. She also is an avid bird watcher, which brings her a deep sense of peace and joy. Rosemary is on the Admiralty Audubon Board and involved locally with habitat preservation and improvement of Kah Tai Lagoon Nature Park. |

"Rosemary has made me a believer in the benefits of Shiatsu. She is very skilled in finding just the right pressure points and releasing
my muscle tightness. I used to have frequent headaches, but since
having regular sessions with Rosemary, I rarely have headaches
anymore. Having the tightness in my neck and shoulders released
allows me to feel more relaxed and have better posture." -- Clara M.
